NBC has picked up two pilots from Warner Bros. TV to go to series, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.
One of the shows is “Powerless,” a workplace comedy that “features (mostly fringe) DC Comics superheroes and stars Vanessa Hudgens,” the article says.
The other show, “Trial & Error,” stars Nick D’Agosto and John Lithgow, and is described in the report as “a comedic take on the hot genre of … documentaries like ‘Making a Murderer.’”
“Powerless” is written by Ben Queen. “Trial & Error” is written by Jeff Astrof and Matt Miller, the story says.
