Ratings Updated for CBS’s Finale of ‘The Good Wife’

The numbers have been adjusted for Sunday’s airing of the series ender for CBS’s “The Good Wife,” and the already good turnout for the finale got a little better.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that the broadcast adjusted up by a tenth of a point to a 1.3 average rating in the key demo of adults 18-49 in final live+same day Nielsen figures. As we reported previously, preliminary results had the program with a 1.2 demo rating and 10.5 million total viewers. Final figures place total viewers at 10.62 million.

“The Good Wife” was Sunday’s most-watched show on the broadcast networks, topping CBS’s “Madam Secretary” with 9.99 million total viewers and “60 Minutes” with 9.21 million.

In demo ratings, “The Good Wife” finished in a tie for the night with NBC’s “Little Big Shots” amd Fox’s “Family Guy,” with all three shows pulling 1.3 ratings in 18-49.

  1. like so many finales, it was good and awful. maybe they’ll do a couple of good wife movies a year. or just leave us wondering, which they always claim is better, but I don’t agree. For example the soprano’s was never the same for me after the ending. never watched any reruns again. Will deeply miss this show, such good writing, acting and directing. Maybe brain dead will be good.
