Following the news that Lin-Manuel Miranda is wrapping up his run as Alexander Hamilton in the Broadway sensation “Hamilton,” word surfaced over the weekend that Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. is also exiting the production.

Odom, who won Best Actor in a Musical at the recent Tony Awards, will leave July 9, New York Magazine’s Vulture reports. Odom plays Aaron Burr in “Hamilton.”

Odom broke the news via Facebook over the weekend, writing: “I am indeed leaving on July 9. It has just been the most completely wonderful, totally healing and inspiring experience from beginning to end. I will never forget the people that I’ve met here. I will never forget all of you … I can’t wait to see all the guys that come after me and show me [more] about Burr.”

News broke earlier that Phillipa Soo, who plays Eliza Hamilton in the production, is also leaving.
