We may soon start seeing blue gorillas all over the place, and it’s all because of a new car-selling platform. The platform, Beepi, has ramped up its funding and is launching its first TV campaign.
The inflatable gorillas, which you can see in the video clip below, are based on the oversized marketing devices associated with used car lots.
MediaPost reports that Beepi is introducing its TV marketing campaign in June and July, coinciding with peak car-buying season.
“Developed with agency Kayser & Co, the ‘Zero To Happy’ integrated campaign features TV spots airing in major metro areas, including Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as radio, digital, social media, and cinema ads,” MediaPost reports. “This effort represents a new direction for the two-year old startup that has traditionally targeted ‘the bottom of the funnel with digital and retargeting.'”
The company has reportedly raised about $149 million from investors, and now operates in 16 cities in nine states.
