NBC is moving forward with a new program that brings together high-profile entrepreneurs Tyra Banks, Rob Dyrdek and Rohan Oza as mentors to start-up companies.
The project, which has the working title “Funded,” is the first series from the newly formed Universal Television Alternative Studios.
The show, billed as the first business competition series built around an investment fund, will feature visionaries competing for a $1 million cash infusion to get their companies rolling. The episodes will be standalone, with one start-up to be funded per episode.
