An outspoken reality star and an actor who was on one of the most popular sitcoms of all time are among the celebrity speakers lined up for the Republican National Convention.
Cleveland.com reports that “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Willie Robertson is on the list, along with Scott Baio, who was a part of “Happy Days” before spinning off his character into his own series, “Joanie Loves Chachi.”
“Baio, besides Trump himself, of course, is the biggest celebrity name on a roster of speakers that is conspicuously void of any A-listers,” the story reports. “‘Duck Dynasty’ patriarch Willie Robertson, actor/model Antonio Sabato Jr. (remember Jagger on ‘General Hospital’?) and former ‘Real World’ star turned U.S. Congressman from Wisconsin Sean Duffy speak on Monday. Soap actress Kimberlin Brown (‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ ‘The Young and the Restless’) and LPGA golfer Natalie Gulbis take the podium Tuesday.”
Rumors of other celebrity appearances apparently haven’t panned out. “Big names previously rumored to address the delegates such as Tim Tebow and Don King will not speak at the convention,” the story reports. “Transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner is scheduled to appear at an event hosted by a pro-LGBT conservative group, but has no plans to attend the convention, reported the Daily Beast.”
