With part of the lineup on the daytime chatfest “The View” still in flux, one of the show’s mainstays, Whoopi Goldberg, has signed a one-year extension to remain on the show.
Goldberg announced the deal on Twitter, writing: “Ok NOW it’s official, I have re-upped for 1 year returning to @TheView 4 the 2016/2017 season. Will continue 2 annoy some, delight others.”
The show has yet to name a replacement for Michelle Collins, who departed “The View” last month. Meanwhile, the status of the program’s other panelists, Joy Behar, Raven-Symone, Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris, remains unclear going forward.
Goldberg has been with the show since 2007, when she replaced Rosie O’Donnell.
Big Mistake. This show should be deep-sixed, “Kelly” moved back one-hour and another hour added to GMA. Why does ABC continue with this worthless show???
Yup. Show sucks now.
