Netflix took the wraps off plans for a coming-of-age ensemble piece that premieres later this month. The project is the original movie “XOXO,” which will debut Aug. 26 on the streaming service.

“The film follows six strangers whose lives collide in one frenetic, dream-chasing, hopelessly romantic night,” Netflix says in its promotional material. The movie follows 20-somethings on an adventure at the XOXO festival.

“At the center is Ethan, a young DJ who gets a last-minute slot to perform after his tracks go viral online days before the festival. This is a huge opportunity … if he can just make it there in one piece,” Netflix notes.

Directed by Christopher Louie, the movie stars Sarah Hyland, Graham Phillips, Brett DelBuono, Hayley Kiyoko, Colin Woodell, Ryan Hansen, Ione Skye and Chris D’Elia.
