USA’s Oldest Olympian Wins Medal in Sixth Olympics

The oldest athlete competing for Team USA in the Olympic Games in Rio scored a medal in his sixth appearance in the Olympics. Phillip Dutton, 51, took the bronze in the equestrian competition men’s individual eventing.

Dutton was making his third consecutive Olympic appearance for Team USA after competing for Australia in 1996, 2000 and 2004.
