A number of players in the pretend politics of “The West Wing” are getting involved in the real politics of the 2016 presidential election.

Politico reports that former cast members on the long-running NBC drama series will be stumping over the weekend in Ohio in support of Hillary Clinton.

“Richard Schiff (Toby Ziegler), Allison Janney (C.J. Cregg), Bradley Whitford (Josh Lyman), Dule Hill (Charlie Young), Joshua Malina (Will Bailey) and Mary McCormack (Kate Harper) will participate. The cast reunion and campaign events will include appearances in Cleveland, Sandusky, Toledo, Columbus and elsewhere,” the website reports.

Created by Aaron Sorkin, “The West Wing” wrapped in 2006 after seven seasons and 26 Primetime Emmys. The series featured fictional President Josiah Bartlet, a Democrat, played by Martin Sheen.

  1. Left Wingers supporting Left Wingers !!! This is certainly a SHOCK !!! 🙂

  2. Generally entertainers including those on sports teams have spent their lives as employees. They have not been responsible for creating jobs, employing people, making payrolls, etc. They are basically pampered, overpaid, spoiled people that confuse acting talent and fame with knowledge and wisdom. Just because people will pay to be entertained by you (like an organ grinder’s monkey) doesn’t mean we value your opinion on anything other than acting! Get over your collective selves!

  3. Will Hillary be in attending any of these or is she taking PEDs for Monday night.
