Amazon gave series orders to three new comedy projects, with the Prime streaming service announcing today that it has ordered “I Love Dick,” “Jean-Claude Van Johnson” and “The Tick.”
All three shows will premiere their full seasons next year. The three shows were part of Amazon’s latest pilot season, which came out Aug. 19.
“I Love Dick” is based on the best-selling book and stars Kathryn Hahn, Griffin Dunne and Kevin Bacon. “Jean-Claude Van Johnson” stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as a retired action star, with Kat Foster, Moises Arias and Phylicia Rashad also in the cast.
“The Tick” has “Guardians of the Galaxy’s” Peter Serafinowicz in the title role as the blue superhero.
The three pilots are currently available to Amazon Prime subscribers.
