Angelina Jolie Interviewed by FBI

The FBI paid a visit to Angelina Jolie at her Malibu home Tuesday, spending about three hours interviewing her and her children in connection with an incident involving her husband, Brad Pitt, and their 15-year-old son, Maddox, TMZ.com reports.

“Well-placed sources tell us there is not an official investigation … the agency is in a ‘fact-finding’ stage to determine if there’s evidence to warrant an investigation,” TMZ reports. “We’re told the agents wanted Angelina and the kids to walk through the incident step-by-step, but they spent a lot of time trying to pin down the location of the airplane at the time it happened.”

The development stems from an incident on a plane back in September, which has been cited as a factor in the breakdown of the couple’s marriage, as we reported previously.

“We’re told it matters if the plane was not in U.S. airspace when the argument went down,” TMZ reports. “The FBI also asked numerous questions about what happened on the ground when the plane refueled in Minnesota. There’s some question as to whether Minnesota officials might have jurisdiction.”

The report notes that it is unlikely the FBI will pursue the case.

  1. ““Well-placed sources tell us there is not an official investigation.” Um when the FBI shows up at your door they are not coming for tea and cupcakes. Surely they have better things to do. Yeah…this is an investigation.

  2. I am sure that Comey will decide this is just reckless behavior and no prosecutor would bring charges.
