Paramount Pictures has received approval for a $700 million project that will see its historic studio lot in Hollywood expanded and renovated over the next 25 years.

The Los Angeles City Council approved the plan Tuesday, City News Service reports.

“The plan for new production offices, sound stages and other facilities at the Melrose Avenue studio would add about 1.4 million square feet to the 60-acre site,” the story reports.
