A gay dating show that has done well in the ratings received a renewal from Logo. Deadline.com reports that the cable channel picked up “Finding Prince Charming” for a second season.
The reality show, hosted by Lance Bass, is focusing in season one on interior designer Robert Sepulveda Jr. as its “Prince Charming.” The show premiered Sept. 8.
“‘Finding Prince Charming’ is in the midst of a hot ratings streak,” Deadline notes. “Its third episode on Sept. 22 was up 22% from its season premiere and up 9% above the previous week, according to Nielsen and Logo. Season to date and across all platforms, ‘Finding Prince Charming’ has reached 3 million plus viewers.”
The report notes that “Finding Prince Charming,” along with a strong performance by “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” helped lift Logo to its highest-rated Thursday in network history on Sept. 22.
