The behind-the-scenes “Access Hollywood” tape that Donald Trump has repeatedly dismissed as “locker room talk” continues to cause trouble for Billy Bush, who is heard on the tape seemingly encouraging Trump’s lewd talk about women.
Bush was recently fired from his job on NBC’s “Today” show over the tape, and now The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Bush’s wife is upset with him over the incident.
The report quotes an unnamed NBC insider saying: “Billy Bush’s wife, Sydney Davis, was furious about the tape. Not just because of what was said, but because he was stupid enough to put himself in that position. It wasn’t just the … vile talk, it’s because he insisted the woman hug him and Trump. It was creepy.”
The couple have been married for 18 years and have three daughters. The tape was from 2005.
The report notes: “Bush’s wife and kids remained in LA while he was in New York, but he has since moved back to the West Coast. He has been seen out in LA since his return, but always with friends and not with his wife.”
The network insider added: “She was so furious that she refused to speak with him for a while — and she’s still furious. They are having marriage problems.”
