Pop superstar Justin Bieber had another bad moment on stage Sunday, storming off the stage in the midst of a concert because his fans were screaming too much, E! News reports.
The incident took place during a stop in Manchester, England, on Bieber’s Purpose World Tour. Bieber, 22, reportedly warned the crowd not to scream while he was trying to talk to them.
The report quotes Bieber saying: “I appreciate all the support, I appreciate love, I appreciate the kind things. But the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you. I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming. I feel like I wanna connect with you.”
He added: “The point of the no-screaming thing is that when I’m looking at you in the eyes you know that we’re actually having a moment and having a connection.”
When the crowd refused to stop screaming, Bieber reportedly dropped the mic and left the stage. He returned after a few minutes and got back to performing, telling the audience: “We’re just going to do the music. Obviously Manchester just can’t handle it, so let’s do the music.”
