The list of nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 has been revealed, with Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur and Janet Jackson all making the list and among the favorites to be inducted into the Hall.

Here’s the full list of 19 nominees, in order of how likely they are to get in, according to Billboard (most likely on top):

  • Pearl Jam
  • Tupac Shakur
  • Electric Light Orchestra
  • Janet Jackson
  • Yes
  • MC5
  • The Cars
  • Joan Baez
  • Chic
  • The Zombies
  • Kraftwerk
  • Chaka Khan
  • Steppenwolf
  • Journey
  • J. Geils Band
  • Jane’s Addiction
  • Joe Tex
  • Depeche Mode
  • Bad Brains

Billboard notes that for disco pioneers Chic, this is the 11th time the group has been nominated, and they have yet to be selected. It’s the third time around for Yes, about whom Billboard notes: “It’s sort of surprising Yes isn’t in already.”

  1. I would vote for Journey and Yes. That would be it.

  2. I never heard of Bad Brains until this list came out.
