An actor who has appeared on the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” was arrested on alleged child molestation, TMZ.com reports.
“Actor Corey Sligh was arrested and booked for child molestation in his home state of Georgia,” the website reports. “The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says the former ‘Young and the Restless’ star was busted last month after the child’s parents reported the alleged molestation on Sept. 24.”
The report says the alleged victim is a girl who was under the age of 10 at the time of the alleged acts of molestation, which reportedly took place between April and September.
Sligh was reportedly arrested Oct. 14 and released the same day on a $22,000 bond, TMZ notes.
Sligh was one of the stars of the short-lived TV series “All About Lizzie,” playing Jordon (also spelled Jordan) on all 12 episodes of the show, which ran from 2012-2013.
