Comedy Central’s animated series “South Park” has repeatedly proved itself to be quick on its feet, especially in its response to current events. But the show’s quickest turnaround ever may have taken place this week, when Donald Trump’s election night victory forced the show to rewrite Wednesday night’s episode in less than one day.

Esquire reports that the rewrite extended to the episode’s title, which was originally going to be “The Very First Gentleman,” reflecting the expected Clinton victory. Instead, the rewrite brought the new episode title “Oh, Jeez.”

For the original episode, the show posted the following synopsis, which was later taken down: “The new administration has plans for Gerald on an all-new episode of ‘South Park’ titled ‘The Very First Gentleman’ on Wednesday, November 9, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. PC Principal tries one more time to make peace between the boys and the girls. Meanwhile, Gerald comes face-to-face with the Troll Hunter.”

The scrapped version was replaced with one that includes this lesson learned from Trump’s victory: “We’ve learned that women can be anything, except for president.”

Here’s a teaser …
