A joint funeral may be held for Debbie Reynolds and her daughter, Carrie Fisher, after both Hollywood icons died this week. TMZ.com reports that a decision is expected today as close family members gather to discuss plans.
“Family sources tell us the sentiment is for a dual service,” the website reports.
TMZ notes that Reynolds reportedly told her son Wednesday, shortly before she suffered a stroke: “I miss her so much. I want to be with Carrie.”
A family member is quoted saying of a joint funeral: “I think this is what they would have wanted.”
TMZ adds: “We’re told the family is leaning toward a private, small ceremony and a much larger second memorial service.”
