Country Singer Luke Bryan Caught on Video in Altercation With Fan During Concert — Here’s the Clip

Singer Luke Bryan got into it with a concert goer Wednesday night while Bryan was performing at Charlie Daniels’ all-star Volunteer Jam in Nashville.

The video appears to show a man near the front of the audience “flipping the bird” at Bryan while Bryan is performing near the edge of the stage. Bryan, who is known to have a polarizing impact on country music fans, appears to encourage the man to come closer, and then appears to smack him.

Rolling Stone reports that Bryan’s camp later issued a statement saying: “A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance. It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans — some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.”

The Rolling Stone report adds: “At least two men were taunting Bryan, including one waving a sign, after the altercation, that read ‘We can see your camel toe’ — a jab at Bryan’s famously tight pants. Seemingly fed up, Bryan took matters into his own hands. A security guard can be seen hopping into the crowd following the encounter, while Bryan continued his performance.”
