A woman whose racist rant at a JCPenney store in Louisville, Ky., was captured on video has gained overnight notoriety as a viral star of sorts after the video chalked up more than 5 million views online.

The woman, who was apparently upset because she thought someone was cutting in line in front of her, is seen on the tape unleashing an expletive-laced tirade against a Latina in the checkout line. Among the woman’s admonitions to the Latina: “Speak English. You’re in America. If you don’t know it, learn it.”

The Jefferson Mall, where the incident took place, released a statement in which it said: “We are aware of the video posted online today from inside JCPenney. … Jefferson Mall strives to create a comfortable and convenient experience for all of our guests and we absolutely do not condone this type of behavior. We will work with JCPenney to identify this woman and once identified, she will be permanently banned from Jefferson Mall, per our Behavioral Code of Conduct.”

Her name is Melinda Miller. Looks like she is a sorority girl.

  2. Can’t hear what she even said!!

  3. Miller is a fat pig AND an ugly American. They should send her back where SHE came from, probably the hog farm where she grew up.
