Pop singer George Michael, who died Sunday at age 53, worked with James Corden on a video more than five years ago that may have planted the seed for Corden’s successful “Carpool Karaoke” franchise.
Michael is seen driving around with Corden in the clip, which was produced to support Comic Relief in 2011.
The clip then transitions into an organizing meeting for the BBC’s Comic Relief effort, including a series of all-star cameos.
