ABC Unveils Its Midseason Schedule, Including Premieres of New Drama, Comedy and Miniseries

ABC is about to roll out the new drama series “Time After Time” along with the comedy “Imaginary Mary” and the miniseries “When We Rise.” The network unveiled its midseason prime-time slate today, kicking off with the return of the network’s successful “TGIF” Thursday night drama lineup Jan. 26.

“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder” will all feature new episodes that night, including the season six premiere of “Scandal.”

Other midseason highlights include the premiere of the high-profile miniseries “When We Rise,” starring Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker and Rachel Griffiths, set for a Feb. 27 premiere, and the debuts of the new drama “Time After Time” (two-hour premiere, Sunday, March 5) and the comedy series “Imaginary Mary” (sneak peek Wednesday, March 29, followed by time-period premiere Tuesday, April 4, 9:30 p.m.).
