CBS moved around some of its prime-time programming to make room tonight for “Mary Tyler Moore: Love Is All Around,” a one-hour special on the legendary actress. Moore died Wednesday at age 80.
“CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King will anchor the program, which will air tonight, Thursday, Jan. 26, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
The special will include interviews with newsmakers and admirers of Moore, including Oprah Winfrey, along with footage of Moore from the CBS archives.
“Moore had a long history with CBS, having starred in such series as ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show’ (1961-66); ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Hour’ (1979); ‘Mary’ (1985-86); and ‘New York News’ (1995),” CBS notes in its announcement.
Susan Zirinsky will be the senior executive producer on the special.
