James Corden, host of CBS’s “The Late, Late Show,” is keeping a busy schedule. Along with his nightly hosting work and his wildly successful “Carpool Karaoke” franchise, Deadline.com reports that Corden will tackle a supporting role in the upcoming feature film “Ocean’s Eight.”
Directed by Gary Ross, the Warner Bros./Village Roadshow Pictures production stars an A-list cast headed up by Sandra Bullock, with Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter also on board.
“As the group plans and executes a heist in New York, Corden will play an insurance investigator who grows suspicious of them,” Deadline reports.
Corden is also set to host the Grammy Awards next month and has recently done voice work for “Trolls” and co-starred with Maggie Smith and Jim Broadbent in “The Lady in the Van.”
