One of the breakout stars from the Fox musical series “Glee” is adding to her already busy schedule with a role on a new ABC comedy pilot.

EW.com reports that Lea Michele, who jump-started her career playing Rachel Berry for six seasons on “Glee,” joined the cast of ABC’s untitled sitcom project starring Brandon Micheal Hall as a rapper who winds up as a city’s mayor.

The project is being executive produced by “Hamilton” star Daveed Diggs. Michele’s role has not been disclosed.

Michele, 30, has kept busy since getting mainstream attention on “Glee” starting in 2009. She had a run as Hester Ulrich on “Scream Queens,” and is due to appear in the Hulu science-fiction anthology “Dimension 404.” She released her first album, “Louder,” in 2014 and will follow it up with “Places” later this year.

Michele has also kept up a schedule that includes stage appearances, concerts, voice work, music videos and authoring a couple of books, including the autobiographical “Brunette Ambition,” released in 2014.
