The annual after-Oscars edition of “Live with Kelly” on Monday morning, Feb. 27, will feature Kelly Ripa’s guest co-host Ryan Seacrest along with Grammy-nominated producer and music mogul DJ Khaled and hip-hop star Flo Rida.
“DJ Khaled, known as the ‘Anthem King’ and commonly referred to as the ‘Quincy Jones of Hip Hop and R&B,’ will act as the house DJ for ‘Live’s’ lavish annual post-Oscar bash, spinning tunes for the thousands of audience members attending the annual special show,” the program notes in its announcement. “Multiple Grammy nominee Flo Rida will perform his new hit, ‘Cake,’ live for the very first time, with a little help from pop-hop duo 99 Percent. The global music star also will treat the audience to his smash single ‘My House.’”
The special program originates from the Dolby Theatre just hours after the Oscars are handed out on the same stage the night before. Ripa and Seacrest will interview winners and reveal exclusive backstage and red-carpet highlights from the previous night’s festivities.
The 89th Oscars will be held Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on ABC at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
