The Sinclair Broadcast Group joined other TV station owners in reporting how much revenue it has brought in from the sale of spectrum in the FCC’s incentive auction. TVNewsCheck reports that Sinclair said today it will receive approximately $313 million.
The company said in a statement that the auction results “are not expected to produce any material change in operations or results for the company. The proceeds are expected to be received later this year.”
TVNewsCheck notes: “The news follows similar announcements this week from Tribune Media ($190 million), Fox Television Stations ($350 million) and Gray Television ($90.8 million).”
