Not surprisingly, Jimmy Kimmel has been revisiting Sunday’s Academy Awards on his ABC late-night show — and milking the ceremony’s disastrous finale for any comedy gold it might yield.

Kimmel, who hosted the ceremony, offered his own version of what went on, complete with clips adding some perspective to the Best Picture meltdown.

Among other things, Kimmel — who has pulled off his share of pranks — reassured his audience that the incident was NOT just another one of his pranks. He also alluded to the logic behind the “two envelopes” policy.
