With the cable upfront approaching and networks unveiling ambitious multiplatform programming lineups, one network said today it has figured out how to engage fully with its viewers in the new media landscape. The network is Turner’s Cartoon Network, which provided a detailed breakdown on its new and returning series along with its substantial forays into mobile, console games and apps.

“Cartoon Network has cracked the code on how a leading media brand can engage with fans through true total consumption,” said Donna Speciale, President of Turner Ad Sales. “Whether it’s VOD or gaming, or everything in between, plurals are connecting with this brand globally in ways most media brands haven’t yet experienced. That presents an incredibly powerful opportunity for our advertising partners this Upfront.”

Among the many highlights in today’s announcement:

  • Cartoon is the #1 VOD choice across all of television.
  • Cartoon has five of the top 10 animated series for Kids.
  • Cartoon has amassed a robust digital and mobile portfolio of 44 apps, approaching nearly 150 million worldwide downloads.

The network’s detailed announcement offers updates on new programs including “Apple & Onion,” “Craig of the Creek,” “Summer Camp Island” and “OK K.O.!,” among others, along with returning series and apps. Click here to see the full announcement.
