An acclaimed series that has been missing from television for a while is coming back. A+E Networks announced today that it is bringing back the documentary series “Biography” starting this spring. The Emmy Award-winning series will roll out across A&E, History and Lifetime.

Projects that are in the pipeline include “The Notorious Life of Biggie Smalls,” “The End of America: Putin’s Master Plan,” “Who Killed Tupac?,” “Gotti & Son,” “Elizabeth Smart: Autobiography,” “Mike Tyson: Autobiography” and “David Koresh and the Siege of Waco.” (Many of the titles are working titles.)

The series returns after five years. In its announcement, A+E says the revived version will be “a re-imagined global, linear and digital non-fiction franchise” that will “focus on meaningful events or personalities and their impact on our culture.”
