A confrontation between veteran newsman Ted Koppel and Fox News host Sean Hannity, which was part of a piece on the country’s political polarization presented by “CBS Sunday Morning,” has been getting a lot of attention.

Here’s the full report, posted by CBS, with the Hannity segments at 3:30 and 5:50 …

  1. Hannity is wrong because he shows the percentage of their income politicians like Sanders and Obama are actually paying in taxes. Sanders is paying 13%, Obama 19%, while the average American pays 25%. No wonder they think it would be great to raise taxes again. Easy to raise taxes when you don’t pay any. If you really want to raise more money, go back to Steve Forbes flat tax, and make the rich actually pay the percentage they should pay.

  2. So Ted has a problem with Hannity. But not Maher. Not Maddow. Not Oliver. Not Lawrence O’Donnell. Not Wolf, not Jake, not Anderson, not Brian Williams. Not that guy who replaced what’s his name from the Daily Show, not Donna Brazile, not Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and the list could go on and on. He’s looking for the New York Times to “heal us.” This is the newspaper that said, “wait, Trump getting elected just can’t happen!” “We’re going to stop being so fair and balanced.” Ted is part of the old guard that just cannot stomach that they’re irrelevant today.

  3. So right Sir William but you missed Michael Moore one of the real s–t stirrer
