It’s well-known that the AMC zombie drama — er, “walker” drama — “The Walking Dead” has been a ratings sensation. But the show just chalked up a ratings achievement that no other drama series has ever accomplished.

The show just wrapped up its fifth consecutive season as the No. 1 show on television in the key demo of adults 18-49, becoming the first drama series in history to pull off the feat. The season seven finale aired Sunday, April 2.

AMC announced that the season finale delivered 15.6 million total viewers, based on Nielsen Live+3 data, including 9.7 million adults 18-49 and 10 million adults 25-54.

Additionally, the “Walking Dead”-focused talk show “Talking Dead” finished the season as the No. 1 talk show, with season seven averaging 4.9 million total viewers, 2.9 million adults 18-49 and 3 million adults 25-54.
