HBO’s ‘Veep,’ Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade,’ Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon’s ‘Better Things’ Win Peabody Awards — We Have the Full List of Entertainment Winners

This year’s recipients of the Peabody Award in the entertainment category were named today, with FX’s “Better Things,” co-created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K.; Beyonce’s HBO video album “Lemonade”; HBO’s “Veep,” starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus; and Donald Glover’s FX series “Atlanta” among the winners.

Louis C.K. made it two Peabodys for the year, with “Horace and Pete,” the Hulu series created by C.K. and starring C.K. and Steve Buscemi, also being honored.

The winners “represent sharp explorations of character, community, and craft in the best stories of today’s scripted television landscape,” the organization said in its announcement.
