A new accuser has surfaced as Bill O’Reilly’s harassment scandal continues to create problems for Fox News and its biggest star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, attorney Lisa Bloom helped an African-American woman report a harassment issue to the Fox News hotline stemming from when the woman was a clerical worker at the network in 2008. Bloom reportedly said O’Reilly used to leer at the woman, calling her “hot chocolate.”
“The woman worked for a different broadcaster in 2008 while this was going on, but ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ host’s office was near her desk, the attorney claims,” THR reports.
Bloom told the publication: “He would never talk to her, not even hello, except to grunt at her like a wild boar. He would leer at her. He would always do this when no one else was around and she was scared.”
THR adds: “Bloom says she spoke with three witnesses who knew the woman at the time and confirmed she was upset and stressed at the end of each workday.”
Said Bloom: “She’s not asking for any money. She just wants them to know her story.”
