Television Academy Honors Six Programs

Six TV programs have been selected as the recipients of the 10th Annual Television Academy Honors. The TV Academy announced today that it is honoring “six exceptional programs available on various platforms that have harnessed the extraordinary power of television to advance social change.”

The 2017 honorees are “Before the Flood” (National Geographic), “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” (HBO), “The Night Of” (HBO), “Speechless” (ABC), “This Is Us” (NBC) and “We Will Rise: Michelle Obama’s Mission to Educate Girls Around the World” (CNN).

The awards will be presented Thursday, June 8, at the Montage Beverly Hills, in a celebration to be hosted by Dana Delany.
