Who Hillary Clinton Apologized to on Election Night

Hillary Clinton offered at least one important apology on election night after coming up short in the presidential election, according to “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign,” a new book by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes chronicling Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid.

Citing a review of the book in The Washington Post, The New York Post reports that just after she called Donald Trump to congratulate him, Clinton placed a call to President Obama, saying: “Mr. President, I’m sorry.”

“The White House urged Clinton to concede as Trump claimed battleground states — some by slim margins — because Obama wanted to avoid a messy recount,” The Post reports.

The story says Obama told Clinton directly, “You need to concede,” and later repeated the suggestion to her campaign chairman, John Podesta.

“The directive came after Clinton ignored previous messages from White House staff to throw in the towel,” The Post reports. “She conceded the loss publicly the next morning.”

  2. Let her go already. Her time is up. Why has she not yet apologized to “The American People” (a frequently used phrase on the campaign trail) for her lies and deceit?

She alone has herself to blame for nearly destroying the Democratic Party and process.

All of the hate cannot hide the fact that Democrats as a whole lost big time with this “deplorable) candidate…
