ESPN today came out with a ranking of the most famous athletes in the world, with the top spot on the list going to soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, who plays for Real Madrid, also claimed the No. 1 spot a year ago on ESPN’s inaugural World Fame 100 list.

Coming in at No. 2 is Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James — also finishing in the same position as one year ago.

Another soccer player, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, placed third, followed by tennis legend Roger Federer at No. 4 and golfer Phil Mickelson at No. 5.

A few other selections include Kevin Durant at No. 8, Tiger Woods at No. 10, Ronda Rousey at No. 16, Serena Williams at No. 19, Tom Brady at No. 21, Simone Biles at No. 48 and Dale Earnhardt Jr. at No. 69.

Some readers may be surprised to learn that not a single baseball player made the list.
