A new sketch comedy show has a series order and plans are in place for a debut on IFC in the late summer. The cable channel announced today that it has acquired “Baroness von Sketch Show,” an all-female, single-camera series.

IFC plans to run 13 episodes of seasons one and two of the half-hour series. The show is performed and written by Meredith MacNeill and award-winning Second City alumni Carolyn Taylor, Aurora Browne and Jennifer Whalen.
