A former contestant on the ABC reality show “Bachelor in Paradise” who was caught up in a sexual assault scandal that forced producers to suspend production on the show has gone into hiding. Inside Edition reports that DeMario Jackson, who continues to deny allegations that he sexually assaulted cast member Corinne Olympios, says the incident has also cost him his job.

Jackson is pushing for the release of video footage of the swimming pool encounter between Jackson and Olympios, as we reported previously.

Jackson told Inside Edition: “My character has been assassinated, my family name has been drug through the mud. The only thing I want is for the truth to come out. I feel like the truth will be able to come out in those videos.”

“The controversy has followed Jackson to his Southern California home. He’s currently hiding out at a relative’s house, where Inside Edition caught up with him,” the story reports. “Jackson said the allegations led to his firing as an executive recruiter.”

The incident continues to be investigated by the show’s producers.
