Stephen Colbert returned from a trip to Russia that he says was supposed to be secret, announcing on last night’s “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that it was Colbert himself who leaked news of his trip.

Colbert showed a photo of himself in Russia that he posted on Twitter. How serious he was about wanting to keep the trip a secret remains a bit of a mystery, but the show posted a clip of Colbert discussing the trip on last night’s show, along with the blurb: “Stephen shares some highlights from his trip to Russia and unmasks the source who leaked his whereabouts.”
