Discovery Channel’s hit reality show “Deadliest Catch” has landed a deal to bring its first six seasons to Outdoor Channel.
Jim Liberatore, CEO and President of Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks, announced the acquisition of the cable syndication rights to 82 episodes of the series.
“If ever there was programming that captures the thrill and adventure of the outdoors, this is it,” Liberatore said in the announcement. “‘Deadliest Catch’ is a compelling series for our core hunt/shoot/fish audience, as well as a broader audience seeking adventure programming.”
Currently in its 13th season, the show continues to air on Tuesdays on Discovery.
