HBO, FX and Netflix Lead Nominations for TCA Awards

The nominations have been announced for the 33rd Annual Television Critics Association Awards, with the FX series “Atlanta,” Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” and NBC’s “This Is Us” leading the way among programs with four nominations apiece.

Among networks, HBO’s 12 nominations, FX’s 11 and Netflix’s 10 lead the way, followed by NBC with seven, Hulu with four and ABC and PBS/PBS Kids with three each.

Nominees for Program of the Year are “Atlanta,” FX; “Big Little Lies,” HBO; “Stranger Things,” Netflix; “The Handmaid’s Tale,” Hulu; “The Leftovers,” HBO; and “This Is Us,” NBC.

Up for Outstanding Achievement in Drama are “Better Call Saul,” AMC; “Stranger Things,” Netflix; “The Americans,” FX; “The Crown,” Netflix; “The Handmaid’s Tale,” Hulu; and “This Is Us,” NBC.

Vying for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy are “Atlanta,” FX; “black-ish,” ABC; “Fleabag,” Amazon; “Master of None,” Netflix; “The Good Place,” NBC; and “Veep,” HBO.
