Keith Urban Dominates CMT Awards, But It’s a Record Night for Another Artist

It was a coronation for Keith Urban on CMT’s self-proclaimed “loudest night in country music,” with the performer sweeping his way to four trophies at the 2017 CMT Awards — including the top prize, Video of the Year, for “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

But it’s Carrie Underwood who holds the record for the most CMT Awards of all time, and she added to her total with two more, pushing the record to 17 trophies.
