‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Sets Launch Date

CBS took the wraps off plans today for the rollout of its eagerly anticipated “Star Trek: Discovery,” the latest incarnation of the venerable space exploration franchise.

The show will launch Sunday, Sept. 24, with a special premiere on the CBS broadcast network before the series moves to CBS All Access. Immediately following the on-air premiere, the premiere episode and the show’s second episode will be available for streaming on CBS All Access.

Following premiere night, new episodes will be released weekly on Sundays, exclusively for CBS All Access.

The 15-episode season will roll out in two chapters, with the first eight episodes running from Sunday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 5, followed by a second chapter to debut in January 2018.

I’m a Star Trek fan the other Star Trek TV series The Next Generation I didn’t care too much about that one because the other Captain he wasn’t a action packed man but Jim T Kurt was a action pack man we need more action and more drama this one I like to see but we going to have to see have this play out
