Fox Business Network marked a couple of ratings achievements during the week of July 10-14, notching its sixth consecutive weekly win over CNBC in total viewers while FBN’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” marked its 47th consecutive week as the No. 1 program in business news.
Based on data from Nielsen Media Research, FBN averaged 181,000 total viewers for the week during the business day, to 142,000 for CNBC. In the key news demo of adults 25, 54, CNBC led with 26,000 to 23,000 for FBN.
“Lou Dobbs Tonight” was the No. 1 news program in business television for the 47th consecutive week with 320,000 total viewers. The program was also No. 1 in the age 25-54 demo with 36,000 viewers.
