Fox Tweaks Fall Schedule

Fox made some adjustments to its rollout of fall programming — the updated lineup of premieres can be seen below. The new schedule moves up the season four premiere of “Gotham” and the time period premiere of the new Seth MacFarlane series “The Orville.”

Both premieres had previously been scheduled for Sept. 28. Instead, they are now set for one week earlier, on Thursday, Sept. 21, with “The Orville” leading out from “Gotham.”

The first episode of “The Orville” bows Sunday, Sept. 10, with a second episode set for the following Sunday, enabling both episodes to benefit from NFL lead-ins ahead of the Sept. 21 time-slot premiere.

Other new shows in the lineup are “Ghosted,” premiering Sunday, Oct. 1, and “The Gifted,” debuting Monday, Oct. 2.

Most of the Fox premieres are set for the week of Sept. 25, coinciding with broadcast premiere week on CBS and NBC.
