Fox Wraps Upfront Deals

Jul 6, 2017  •  Post A Comment

The Fox Networks Group, which includes both the Fox broadcast network and a lineup of cable networks that includes FX, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, has completed its upfront advertising sales, with MediaPost reporting that the company achieved CPM gains in the 6% to 8% range.

The price increases are on a par with those attained by the other major networks, who completed their upfront sales previously. The bad news for Fox is that, unlike the other networks, volume was flat.

While other networks improved on their volume from last year, Fox is expected to be right around the estimated $1.55 billion in upfront volume from a year ago.

MediaPost notes that Fox had gains in a number of major advertising categories, including consumer packaged good, pharmaceutical and fast food.
