IFC Takes Wraps Off Development Slate

Coming off the highest-rated first-season show in IFC’s history, the cable network unveiled a development slate that includes 11 new comedy projects. The announcement comes as the channel celebrates a strong first season for the comedy series “Brockmire.”

IFC has given episodic script orders to “NGO,” “Hot to Rig an Election” and “Sherman’s Showcase,” with a roster of other scripted projects in development that includes “Elna,” “Greener Grass,” “The Last Hotel Detective,” “Dr. Taco,” “Bad Beta,” “New Hope,” “Frank and Lamar,” “Lee’s Kill List” and “Mama Tried.”

Also in the works are the Comedy Crib digital series “Janice and Jeffrey,” “Commuters” and “Neurotica.”
